--StG1990 17:56, 2. Your Article

[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Translation for you ;-): Hello Chrisgj, please stop putting up this article again and again, it isn't deleted, it is just in your usersnamespace at Benutzer:Chrisgj/ACTH Stimulationstest. Please complete it there. Also import the versionshistory of the englisch article you clearly translated. You can ask for an import here. --StG1990 18:15, 2. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Sorry, I'm using a translator program. The person that translated it may help me get this article fixed up better, but of course any help will be greatly appreciated. I can't figure out why the source references aren't working. I'll try to figure out how to do the import. Thanks Chrisgj 18:22, 2. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

If you need help you could ask for an mentor at Wikipedia:Mentorenprogramm. I think they also can speak english and will help you even more. --StG1990 18:24, 2. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
Thanks, I asked for help there. Chrisgj 20:01, 2. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

ACTH Stimulation Test

[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Hi, IMHO your article is at this moment actually quite insufficient. I would suggest to import it anew (with its correct history) and to get it translated by german users. There would be a handful of helping hands I guess. I think it would be a good idea to consult our en:Portal:Medicine (which is Portal:Medizin) to elicit if the article would be helpful in their array, and then to start with distributed efforts. How do you think about? --Port(u*o)s 23:45, 2. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

"I would suggest to import it anew (with its correct history)" I don't know how to do that. I had a German citizen translate it, but he could have made some errors which I hope others of you can help us fix. Keep in mind that as i don't read German, dealing with this version of Wikipedia is not easy for me. I was hoping to get this article on here and let you guys work on it. This article is very important so I will do what I can to get it accepted, but with lot of help from you all. Thank you. Chrisgj 02:01, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
An article, translated as is yours, has to be imported using a transwiki import (thus maintaining version integrity and copyright). That should already have been done before translating. If (as in your article) things are the way they are (i.e. translation before import), a sysop has to import page history afterwards to get things back in order again. YourEyesOnly (sysop) has been so kind and imported page history afterwards. Take care --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 12:52, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
I didn't know anything about needing to import. Thanks YourEyesOnly. Also THANKS to everyone who have edited this article. I am amazed at the amount of editing it has received so far. The French and Spanish Wikipedia, it's like no ones there, so figured that would be same for the German version. I was sure wrong and surprised how active the administrators are here. Added 3 pictures today. I need the caption of the first one translated please. Thanks. Chrisgj 18:39, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Done. --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 18:46, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
Thank you. Chrisgj 18:53, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
Having just looked into the description of that picture I got the impression as if that very picture had nothing to do with the subject of your article (or at least nothing to do with the caption I translated). Correct me if I'm getting the description wrong but to me it states: Hospitalman First Class (Aviation Warfare) Jason Dillow, of Westminster, MD. draws blood from a Navy Sailor, for a routine HIV check. (Bild:Blutabnahme.jpg#metadata). I will remove the picture from the article for now. --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 23:43, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
I didn't see that, really that should not have the description on that page as it's a generic picture of a blood draw, looks the same no matter if done on a boat or in a hospital or doctors office. The purpose of the Wiki Commons is to allow others to use the same picture is it not? If I have to I'll put up the picture I have on the English version but that is going to be a lot of trouble for me.Chrisgj 00:30, 4. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
I put the suitable image from Commons (same as in English version of article) into your article, should be OK now. See you --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 00:57, 4. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
That's the one, thanks a lot. Chrisgj 01:53, 4. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Cortisol has been changed to Kortisol

[Quelltext bearbeiten]

in some places of this article. The article Cortisol doesn't spell with a K and was redirected from Kortisol. Can we get opinions of how it should properly be spelled. Thanks. Chrisgj 01:57, 4. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

I'm going to change it to Cortisol then. Thanks for the help. Chrisgj 21:28, 16. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

more translation help needed

[Quelltext bearbeiten]

I translated this article with Babel Fish and found this is listed twice. Verfahrensweise der Vorbereitung und Verabreichung

I need the two Vorbereitung merged together please Thanks. Chrisgj 18:52, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Scrap that. I took from the English Wik version of ACTH stimulation test the sections "Versions of the Test" through "Potential Side Effects" and put them on here. If someone could translate that instead and delete the two Verfahrensweise der Vorbereitung und Verabreichung possibly? Chrisgj 19:02, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Added these at the bottom, also from the current English Wik version, needs translating.

Other hormones and chemicals that will rise in the ACTH stimulation test [Bearbeiten]

Simple diagnostic chart [Bearbeiten] Needs translation. Thanks. Chrisgj 19:17, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Did it myself, thanks for the help. Chrisgj 21:59, 16. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Added the first 4 opening paragraphs from current English Wik version. After translating, then delete orginal 3 opening paragraphs. Thanks. Chrisgj 19:26, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Mentor

[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Hi there. You asked for a mentor, now you got one. ;-) Mentor Port(u*o)s has already posted some suggestions concerning your article (thanks). Feel free to ask me any questions that come to your mind (either here or on my discussion page). I will first take a look into what you have translated so far (Benutzer:Chrisgj/ACTH Stimulationstest), then post my suggestions here. Are there any parts of that article of yours not translated by Babelfish? Take care --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 00:37, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

Thanks for helping me. Someone who lives in Germany helped with the translation, didn't use Babel fish at all. He will be helping with this, but he has never used Wikipedia, so that is mostly why I've asked for your help.Chrisgj 01:45, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten
Ok. :-) --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 01:57, 3. Okt. 2008 (CEST)Beantworten

As you have been inactive for some weeks now I have removed your name from the list of mentees. If you need my help (in case of problems) just reply here. Greetings --Leithian Keine Panik! Handtuch? 19:43, 7. Dez. 2008 (CET)Beantworten
