Women Grandmaster

Sorry... I didn't read 2005 verlieh die FIDE ihr den Damen-Großmeistertitel., I have finished at Im gleichen Jahr erhielt sie von der FIDE den Titel Internationale Meisterin. :) pjahr 13:24, 5. Aug. 2007 (CEST)

I was just answering when you saw it yourself. My superfluous answer: I see no contradiction to the wording in the article. I know cases (Ulf von Hermann) where the norms were made in the early 1980s but the title was only given in the late 2000 yrs. It is only for a couple of years now that the German chess association (DSB) automatically applies for IM and GM titles. Before, the player himself had to apply to FIDE. For instance the Ukrainian chess federation does not send applications to FIDE, the player has to do this himself. Stanislav Koroktjevich just made an IM-norm in the 2nd German division west but if he does not take the whole procedure upon himself it won't be recognized since they don't seem to care in Kiew. --Gereon K. 13:28, 5. Kandidatenturnier 1980

Wenn ich nicht sehr irre, hat sich Fischdick für das Kandidatenturnier seinerzeit qualifiziert und verlor im Viertelfinale gegen Litinskaja unter den beschriebenen Umständen?! -- Caissa66 19:23, 8. Feb. 2010 (CET)
