Wer möchte helfen, den Baustein „QS-Biologie“ loszuwerden? Für Artikel über Bakterien kann die Wikipedia:Formatvorlage Bakterien verwendet werden, auch wenn bei Erstanlage bestimmt nicht alle Punkte davon in Betracht kommen. Zur Recherche ist immer ein Blick auf die List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN) hilfreich, hier: Gattung Streptococcus, dann nach der Art suchen. So findet man häufig den im International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology oder anderswo veröffentlichen Artikel, der die Erstbeschreibung oder erweiterte Beschreibung des Bakteriums enthält, in dem die wichtigen Informationen enthalten sind, in diesem Fall:
