Mario von Depka, M.D., Ph.D. Updated biography PD Dr. von Depka is the director of the Werlhof-Institute for Thrombosis and Haemostasis and is member of the faculty of Hannover Medical School in Hannover, Germany. PD Dr. von Depka earned his medical degree from the University of Münster, Westphalia, Germany, and his Ph.D. from Hannover Medical School. He is the director of the Haemostasis and Thrombosis Research Centre, the Thrombosis Clinical Patient Centre, the Haemophilia Treatment Centre Lower Saxony, and The Haemostasis and Thrombosis Laboratory of Werlhof-Institute, Hannover, Germany.
