Da ich doch immer wieder etwas vergesse, hier eine Checkliste

• sun glasses
• power converter
• passport
• local currency
• credit and debit card with pin
• gifts from home
  • whatever comes to mind, but sure take many things, there is always some random new friend to make and a gift to take is great
• headphones with cable for in flight entertainment
• create/check NAS and backup before leaving
• take important files and or put on dropbox
• notify everyone ahead of time
  • friends that might head towards the same travel destination
• Hotel reservation
• flight checkin
• umbrella
• rain jacket
• chewing gum for the flight
• sleep googles
• neck rest
• extra batteries
• music and movies downloaded on phone
• swiss army knife
• plastic bags
• flashlight or phone with extra battery to use as flashlight
• take envelopes to file receipts to have it easier to do expense reports
• take USD cash
• get wifi access point box to put local sim card in when traveling with multiple people
• check if no other major events are on your schedule, e.g. pope in town?
• for non profit travel always book trough travel agency to have compared prices proof
• confirm pricing written ahead of time for group bookings and confirm group discounts
• confirm internet speed ahead of time
• leave some time in the travel schedule to review work and detail plan trip (morning working hours, evening working hours)
• Travel pouch kit with the essentials on the plane so one does have not to rummage in a big backpack for headphones, adapters, pen etc.
• pack everything critical into carry on luggage
