ElinorD 11:52, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
- But the quality of the content of the site(s) is not disputed? If so, please don't remove the link if it is a source for the content of an article. --Tinz 12:09, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
- See my reply here. ElinorD 12:21, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
- (BK) This problem can not be solved in Wikipedia. The links may have been a source for the article. It would be better to use <!--Kommentar--> till the problem is solved. --Hozro 12:22, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
- I've stopped for the moment, and am asking advice from administrators at English Wikipedia. I will not do any more without discussing it at the noticeboard here. The administrator who removed the links from French Wikipedia just removed them, as far as I know; he didn't just make them invisible. In most cases, I just removed them from the "Weblink" section, where I think they were intended as further reading, not as a source for a statement in the article. I think in one or two articles I removed them from the actual body of the article. I will take another look later. ElinorD 12:38, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
- I can`t see a reason for deleting this Link. Also on the english page wasn´t a specific explanation. If there are special reasons, please copy them on the discussion pages! (Not much more work than deleting). (Der vorstehende, nicht signierte Beitrag stammt von Bodoklecksel (Diskussion • Beiträge) 14:39, 29. Mär. 2007)
- English User en:User:JzG (signing as Guy) gave a good explanation on the German Admin Noticeboard. It has something to do with an OTRS complaint. I'm sorry I can't be more specific. I'm happy to leave it for administrators to decide what to do. In the meantime, I would request that German users would please not revert my removal of the links until a decision has been made. I removed 54 "death-camp" links (and a small number of "deathcamp" links, and it now seems that fifteen of them have been replaced.[1] ElinorD 21:32, 29. Mär. 2007 (CEST)
