Map

Please stop immediately pasting your map of the Africa Cup 2012 in the article. The map ist wrong, 'cause it contains the western sahara as a participant. -- Hepha! ± ion? 15:20, 8. Feb. 2012 (CET)

English message - sorry I don't speak german good enough - About wiki page "Fußball-Afrikameisterschaft 2012"

Hi Hephaion,

You just sent me a message warning me about this wiki page Fußball-Afrikameisterschaft_2012 and asking me not to modify it again because the african map of qualified teams I am updating is wrong due to western sahara being considered as entering the compeition. I don't really see where my mistake is. I just wanted to fix the map and make it look like any other map of africa being published on Wikipedia. You can see the following maps found on wikipedia

Moreover, the maps used for the previous "African cup of nations" like 2010 [[1]], 2008 [[2]], 2006 [[3]], 2004 [[4]], 2002 [[5]] etc are all of the same kind as the one I tried to update the page with. I just wanted to make it coherent and thought the previous one was wrong and needed to be fixed because western sahara, though not entering the competition, was totally overlapped by morocco. The person that made the map erroneously made western sahara disappear which goes against all other maps of africa. Needless to say that the maps I am giving as an example are neither mine nor I performed any modification on them. I will not make any change to the page though I think it's now wrong because of the map which inconsistent with the rest of wikipedia. It's up to you, now.

vielen Dank für deinen Diskussionsbeitrag. In der Wikipedia ist es üblich, Diskussionsbeiträge zu signieren. Dazu schreibst du einfach --~~~~ dahinter. Alternativ kannst du auch mit dem Signatur-Icon () oberhalb des Bearbeitungsfensters die vier Tilden einfügen. Die Software wandelt die Tilden beim Speichern automatisch in deinen Benutzernamen oder deine IP-Adresse und einen Zeitstempel um.
