I can't speak German, so i'm speaking in English about the Transfermarkt offer
[Quelltext bearbeiten]- Well, it depends! Thanks for the opportunity! I can help, but i need to understand firstly what could i actually help. I say this because i'm from Brazil, and i can't speak Japanese. Apart from Hiragana and Katakana (which i can read normally), i only know some kanjis. I don't know how to translate things, either. I rely on Google Translate for it. So... i have my disadvantages, but i could help if i saw any means i could contribute to. I also works outside Wikipedia, so i wouldn't be as ctive as everyone... If i can, or can't work with you, it's already nice knowing i was considered to help. Maybe User:Daxion, User:BRICK93 and User:Stueybrock could lend a hand ~~ Skydream1721 (talk) 20:45, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

- UPDATE: I would have probably little to no time available to contribute voluntarily to another project :(. Wikipedia already takes a bit of the free time i have. Would be highly burdensome to contribute to Transfermarkt as well as Wikipedia at the moment, if i needed to contribute to it, like... daily. If suits you better, my twitter is @skydream1723, to talk more about it. ~~ Skydream1721 (Diskussion) 22:12, 16. Jan. 2023 (CET)
- Thank you for reaching out. I added you via Twitter so we can better communicate on there. Don't worry there is no need to be active daily at all (you could for sure) but I understand time is limited.
- Don't worry about the lack of knowledge on Japanese. I rely mostly on translate as well and with basic Katakana knowledge you can basically do quite a lot about maintaining player profiles.
- I would like to reach out to those guys as well, is there a comfortable way without being too rude? I understand I am "head hunting" for a different platform, but personally I think the updated Transfermarkt data base helps to cover quite a lot information you'd need to add manually on Wikipedia to several pages (team, player etc.) so please understand my inquiry to be made in good faith. Cheers. --Shikayama (Diskussion) 09:58, 17. Jan. 2023 (CET)
- @Daxion
- @BRICK93
- @Stueybrock
- Hey guys, an attempt for an outreach, despite you are probably active on a different language version. If you could consider contributing to the Transfermarkt data base as well to Wikipedia, feel free to reach out here or contact me here or @Soccer-holic.
- I voluntarily add Japanese football data to Transfermarkt since 2014 after having started with German wikipedia in 2011, Soccer-holic I think joined since 2016 or so and is especially responsible to archiive Japan Football League data. We add anything from J.League to Regional League football to Transfermarkt and could use any hand.
- Feel free to just notify you read this message. Even if you are not interested, I am not sure contacting you this way works on Wikipedia. --Shikayama (Diskussion) 10:12, 17. Jan. 2023 (CET)
- Sorry, replied here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Skydream1721#Japanese_regional_league_contributions_on_Transfermarkt
