False error 037 on da-wiki
Hi Stefan! Maybe I'm a littel slow, but when is "next time" [1]? :-) And by the way: Great project you have!--MGA73 08:54, 3. Feb. 2009 (CET)

Phantomfehler
-- sk 19:08, 14. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- Fehler gefunden. Also Das Problem liegt an nds selbst.

Feb. 2009 (CET)

Softening the wording
Hello, Stefan. Thank you for your work. By the way, it seems that some people are causing small conflicts in the project by rigidly following the list your script produces. I assume it may help the situation if you soften the wording a little. For example, your script reads “"The Mediawiki software is very flexible but we don't need these HTML tags,” but there are times using HTML-like tags makes sense (like using <p> within <blockquote>), so it may be nicer if you make it to something like "In most cases we can use simpler wiki markups in place of these HTML-like tags.” --Aotake 19:25, 17. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- Thanks for this info. I will change this in my script. -- sk 11:13, 18. Feb. 2009 (CET)

DEFAULTSORT in eswiki
Hello. Now there is a new magic word for the DEFAULTSORT function on the Spanish Wikipedia. Its name is ORDENAR. Could you please add it to your script? What you have to do is the same as the ORDENA on cawiki. Regards, Muro de Aguas 18:58, 18. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- , I have insert this. -- Oksk 21:24, 18. Feb. 2009 (CET)

False reports for item 7
In today's (February 19) report for the Swedish Wikipedia, item No. 7 (Rubrikstrukturen börjar med tre "="; headlines starting with three "=") suddenly had 34 occurrences. However, many of these places referred to the same page (which is an anomaly, since headlines cannot "start" more than once in a page) and the reported headlines were not at all the first in those pages. There were also a handful (3-7) correct reports that have now been fixed. --LA2 12:24, 19. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- This is an error in my script. Yesterday I have start a new error. If a headline had ''' then I can found this now. But I have not write the correct error number in my script so that the result of two errors is merged. -- sk 13:48, 19. Feb. 2009 (CET)
Square brackets not correct begin
As you can see here fr:Wikipédia:WikiProject_Check_Wikipedia#Square_brackets_not_correct_begin we have a great number of false positive :
fr:Arpajon | ... villes jumelées avec Arpajon]] |
Here is the code : {{Début de carte}}[[Image:{{Géolocalisation/Europe|image|}}|200px|Localisation des villes jumelées avec Arpajon]]
and also one strange unknown :
fr:Travail des enfants | ... ]] |
Dionysostom 22:39, 23. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- The first problem is the bad definition of this table for the cities partnerships. A table begin with {| and end with |}. My script found the end of the table in .../Europe|image|}}.... For the next steps I delete this tables and so there is this problem with the end of the text "...avec Arpajon]]". It is possible to change {{Géolocalisation/Europe|image|}} into a template without |}? -- sk 21:56, 24. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- The second problem is also a problem with a table. It is a table inside the table in caption "Répartition géographique". I think I will change my script for better table detection. But I think also that this is not a good syntax in this article. -- sk 22:08, 24. Feb. 2009 (CET)
Tables and references (ENwiki)
Hi! This really is a great tool that you have... thank you very much.
I have two questions. First, en:Iran national football team has appeared as not having a <references /> for a few days now, even though it does have the Reflist template. This is the only article where I've noticed this false positive, and I've tried fixing it a few times to no avail.
Additionally, in "Title with special letters and no DEFAULTSORT," the items articles are no longer listed in a table. I find it easier to use a table, since then it's easier to read and remember where you are. I'm not sure if this is an error or if you changed your script, but I just wanted to make sure you knew.
Thanks! -Drilnoth 20:35, 24. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- In the caption "Iran World Cup captains" is a table without correct |}. This is the reason. My script delete from this table to the end all text and then it can't find the reflist. The second question is known. I have chang the script. If in the second part of the table is nothing, then it will be displayed as text and not as table. So the error did not need so much space at the page. -- sk 22:14, 24. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- Ah... thank you. I hadn't thought of that as being a possibility for the problem. And also thanks for the update about the formatting. -Drilnoth 01:45, 25. Feb. 2009 (CET)

- In the last day I have change my scipt, so that only the text between headlines will checked for this error. "Template not correct begin". Now I see that it is possible to start a template before a chapter. I don´t like this. I think it is not good syntax. But I will change my script back. -- sk 18:15, 26. Feb. 2009 (CET)
Lists using the list-style-type CSS property
Hi Stefan
Would it be possible to change error type 12 of WikiProjekt Check Wikipedia (HTML list elements) so it won't complain about lists using the list-style-type CSS property (for example <ol style="list-style-type:lower-roman"> and <ol style="list-style-type:lower-alpha">)? These types of lists cannot be made using wiki syntax. Thank you, Byrial 11:51, 26. Feb. 2009 (CET) (from Danish Wikipedia: my talk page there)

Ideas for new errors
Hi! I've thought of a few other common article problems that might be nice to have in the script, if it's possible.
- "Header" HTML code which should be replaced (e.g. the use of <
h2>, rather than "=
=").
- The use of code like "&
ndash'" rather than the actual symbol ("−"), and related test-to-symbol conversions (similar to the "Symbol for Dead" option that you already have).
- Links to Wikimedia Foundation articles that use direct external links (like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:HTML rather than en:Wikipedia:HTML).
- Links to external sites which either A) don't have brackets around them (leaving the raw link rather than a shortened number or phrase), or B) Have the brackets, but don't have a "name", causing them to display as a number (e.g. [4] vs. Wikipedia:HTML).
Thanks for your consideration! -Drilnoth 20:39, 26. Feb. 2009 (CET)
- Thanks for this info. I will test it. I think nr. 1 and 2 is not a problem. Maybe nr. 4 is easy to program but I think nr. 3. will be a little bit hard. :-) -- sk 21:34, 26. Feb. 2009 (CET)

Fehler Nr. 47 - Template not correct begin
Hallo Stefan. Bei diesem Fehler werden einige Artikel angezeigt bei denen zwei geschweifte Klammen }}
innerhalb von math-Tags vorkommen (z. B. Bass-Diffusionsmodell). Feb. 2009 (CET)

Hi Stefan, just to let you know that there is a small typo error in the table summarizing detections at the top: «unkown» should rather be spelled «unknown». Thanks --66.131.214.76 16:33, 28. Feb. 2009 (CET)
