Wikipedia translation of the week: 2023-10

Please be bold and help translate this article! Mary Nzimiro, birthname Mary Nwametu Onumonu, MBE (1898–1993) was a pioneering Nigerian businesswoman, politician and women's activist. In 1948, she was appointed principal representative of the United Africa Company (UAC) for Eastern Nigeria, while maintaining textile and cosmetics retail outlets of her own in Port Harcourt, Aba and Owerri. By the early 1950s, she was among the richest individuals in West Africa, becoming a resident of the exclusive Bernard Carr Street in Port Harcourt. On the political front, she was a member of the influential National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons, becoming a member of its executive committee in 1957 and vice-president of the NCNC Estern Women's Association in 1962. During the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970), she organized Igbo women in support of the Biafrans. As a result she lost most of her property in Port Harcourt and returned to her native Oguta where she died in 1993. Letzte Änderungen
- Die Bedingungsgrenze für Missbrauchsfilter wurde von 1000 auf 2000 erhöht. [7]
- Manche Aktionen von globalen Missbrauchsfiltern werden nicht mehr auf lokale Projekte angewendet. [8]
- Desktop-Nutzer können nun Diskussionsseiten abonnieren, indem sie auf den Link Abonnieren im Menü Werkzeuge klicken. Wenn du eine Diskussionsseite abonnierst, erhältst du Benachrichtigungen, wenn auf dieser Diskussionsseite neue Themen begonnen werden. Diese Funktion ist unabhängig von deiner Beobachtungsliste und dem Abonnieren einer einzelnen Diskussion. [9]
Anstehende Änderungen im Verlauf der Woche
- Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab 28 März verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 29 März. Auf allen Wikis ab 30 März (Kalender).
Zukünftige Änderungen
- Du wirst den visuellen Versionsunterschied in allen Versionsgeschichten in Wiktionarys und Wikipedien auswählen können. [10]
Der alte Dienst für mobile Inhalte wird im Juli 2023 abgeschaltet. Entwicklern wird empfohlen, vorher auf Parsoid oder zu einer anderen API zu wechseln, um den Weiterbetrieb des Dienstes sicherzustellen. [11]
