Wikiflix ist wie Netflix, jedoch mit dem Unterschied, dass es kostenlos ist. Dort werden Filme aus Wikimedia Commons präsentiert. Filme können auf Commons hochgeladen werden, wenn sie entweder direkt unter einer CC-Lizenz veröffentlicht wurden oder das Urheberrecht erloschen ist, was nach 70 bzw. 95 Jahren der Fall ist.
Braunkäse ist ein norwegischer Ziegenkäse, der sich durch einen süßen, karamellartigen Geschmack auszeichnet und wird in den entsprechenden Regionen als Delikatesse gehandelt. So ist auch ein LKW mit 27 Tonnen dieses Braunkäses im Januar 2013 durch den Brattlitunnel gefahren, welcher dort Feuer fing. Durch den hohen Fett- und Zuckergehalt brannte der Käse lichterloh und die entstehenden giftigen Gase erschwerten die Löscharbeiten. So dauerte es ganze vier Tage, bis das Feuer gelöscht werden konnte!

Please be bold and help translate this article!  Operation Kraai (Operation Crow) was a Dutch military offensive against the de facto Republic of Indonesia in December 1948 after negotiations failed. With the advantage of surprise the Dutch managed to capture the Indonesian Republic's temporary capital, Yogyakarta, and seized Indonesian leaders such as de facto Republican President Sukarno. This apparent military success was however followed by guerrilla warfare, while the violation of the Renville Agreement ceasefire diplomatically isolated the Dutch, leading to the Dutch–Indonesian Round Table Conference and recognition of the United States of Indonesia. - Webbrowser können sogenannte Erweiterungen verwenden. Es gibt jetzt eine Chrome-Erweiterung namens Citation Needed, mit der du prüfen kannst, ob eine Aussage im Internet durch einen Wikipedia-Artikel gestützt wird. Dies ist ein kleines Experiment, um zu sehen, ob Wikipedia auf diese Weise verwendet werden kann. Da es sich nur um ein Experiment handelt, kann es in Chrome ausschließlich auf Englisch verwendet werden.
Eine neue Funktion zur Wiederherstellung von Bearbeitungen wurde in allen Wikis bereitgestellt und ist als Benutzereinstellung verfügbar. Sobald du diese Funktion aktivierst, werden deine laufenden Bearbeitungen in deinem Webbrowser gespeichert. Wenn du versehentlich ein Bearbeitungsfenster schließt oder dein Browser oder Computer abstürzt, wirst du aufgefordert, den nicht gespeicherten Text wiederherzustellen. Bitte hinterlasse Rückmeldungen auf der Diskussionsseite des Projekts. Dieser Wunsch belegte Platz 8 in der Umfrage zur Community-Wunschliste 2023.- Erste Ergebnisse des Experiments zur Bearbeitungsprüfung wurden veröffentlicht. Die Bearbeitungsprüfung wird nun als Standardfunktion in den Wikis, die sie getestet haben, eingesetzt. Lass uns wissen, wenn dein Wiki Teil der nächsten Einführung der Bearbeitungsprüfung sein soll. - Leser, die den Minerva-Skin auf Mobilgeräten verwenden, werden feststellen, dass die Zeilenhöhe in allen Typografieeinstellungen verbessert wurde. [9]

- Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab 9 April verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 10 April. Auf allen Wikis ab 11 April (Kalender). [10][11]

Probleme
- Vom 2. April bis 8. April wurde in Wikis mit gesichteten Versionen die Markierung „Zurückgesetzt“ nicht richtig auf zurückgesetzte Bearbeitungen angewendet. Zusätzlich wurden Verschiebungen, Seitenschutze und Importe nicht automatisch gesichtet. Dieses Problem wurde nun behoben. [13][14]

- Die neue Version der MediaWiki-Software wird auf dem Testwiki und MediaWiki.org ab dem 16. April verfügbar sein. Auf Nicht-Wikipedia-Wikis und einigen Wikipedias vom 17. April. Auf allen Wikis ab dem 18. April (Kalender). [15][16]
- Standard-Sortierschlüssel für Kategorien werden nun auch auf Kategorien angewendet, die durch Vorlagen in Fußnoten hinzugefügt werden. Zuvor wurde in den Fußnoten der Seitentitel als Standard-Sortierschlüssel genutzt, auch wenn ein anderer Standard-Sortierschlüssel angegeben wurde (kategorienspezifische Sortierschlüssel haben bereits funktioniert). - Eine neue Variable
page_last_edit_agewird zu den Missbrauchsfiltern hinzugefügt. Sie gibt an, vor wie vielen Sekunden die letzte Bearbeitung an einer Seite vorgenommen wurde. [18]
Zukünftige Änderungen
- Freiwillige Entwickler werden darum gebeten, den Code ihrer Werkzeuge und Funktionen zu aktualisieren, um mit temporären Konten umzugehen. Erfahre mehr darüber.
Vier Datenbankfelder werden aus den Datenbank-Replicas (darunter Quarry) entfernt. Dies betrifft nur die Tabellen abuse_filterundabuse_filter_history. Einige Abfragen müssen möglicherweise aktualisiert werden. [19]

- Kartographer maps can use an alternative visual style without labels, by using
mapstyle="osm". This wasn't working in previews, creating the wrong impression that it wasn't supported. This has now been fixed. [44]
