1,12-Dodecanediol with an e

Surely 1,12-dodecandiol should be 1,12-dodecanediol with an "e" (as in decane)? Surely there is no such thing as a German spelling of this chemical formula? Only the first reference has that spelling. I hope someone can verify, and I propose to change the spelling (even if this is a German article). In german it is always without this "e". So the naming in the german article is correct and must not be changed. I hope in future someone will create an article in the english wikipedia for that substance. The references to sources in english language contain for sure the "e" (but they are written in english), but the german sources will (as usual) use the german spelling. Rjh (Diskussion) 14:15, 19.
