I agree that there is some doubt. On the one hand, there's this castlist: http://www.carmen-at-masada.com/carmen.html, on the other there are reports about (at least) three different singers in that role at that production. • Sorry for the mass. according to this article (Hebrew), the opera started with Nancy Fabiola Herrera but between the two first acts she was replaced by Na'ama Goldman as she was sick.
