Die Liste lässt darauf schliessen. Da sind ja nur Atomapokalypsen. Hat wohl auch damit zu tun, dass es gar nicht so viele Atompunk-Filme gibt. Nicht mal Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow passt so richtig. Ich finde die Definition in der EN WP gar nicht so schlecht: Atompunk (sometimes called "atomicpunk") relates to the pre-digital short twentieth century, specifically the period of 1945–1965, including mid-century Modernism, the Atomic Age, Jet Age and Space Age, Communism and concern about it exaggerated as paranoia in the U.S. along with Neo-Soviet styling, underground cinema, Googie architecture, Sputnik and the Space Race, early Cold War espionage, superhero fiction and comic books, the rise of the US military/industrial powers and the fall-out of Chernobyl.[35][36] Its aesthetic tends toward Populuxe and Raygun Gothic, which describe a retro-futuristic vision of the world. Nein, um Widerspruch gehts gar nicht. Ich finde die Beschreibung was Atompunk ist könnte im deutschen Eintrag noch erweitert werden. Widerspruch sehe ich eher in der Liste. WarGames, Day After und A Boy and his Dog sind wirklich kein Atompunk. ☆☆☆ interstellarpoliceman ☆☆☆ 15:00, 7. Apr. 2019 (CEST)

Viele inhaltliche Fehler

Bei Atompunk handelt es sich um ein EIGENES Subgenre des Science-Fiction & Retro-Futurismus, das nichts mit Cyberpunk zu tun hat. Genau so wenig wie Steampunk (Steampunk gab es schon vor dem Begriff und vor dem Cyberpunk).

Lediglich der Name ist vom Cyberpunk abgeleitet. Inhaltlich stammt Atompunk weder vom Cyberpunk ab noch ist er davon wirklich beeinflusst.

Auch ist ein Postapokalyptisches Thema nicht so häufig. Klar, das bekannteste Atompunk-Videospiel ist zufälligerweise auch postapokalyptisch (Fallout), aber ansonsten ist mir das nicht so oft begegnet. Utopien und Dystopien sind da weitaus häufiger.

Und wenn man schon dabei ist, wäre es nett, wenn auch Raypunk erwähnt werden würde, da beides doch sehr nah beieinander ist. --87.139.20.65 14:56, 3. Jan. 2024 (CET)
