Ragusa or Vizzini

The line to Ragusa was completed first and is also the longer between the two branches. Therefore I think that this page should be called either Bahnstrecke Siracusa-Ragusa-Vizzini or Bahnstrecke Siracusa-Ragusa.--Sal73x 15:21, 8. Jun. 2011 (CEST)

Dear "Anonimous", you have revolutuionized the history of this railway. The main page should be called Bahnstrecke Siracusa-Ragusa and the other Bahnstrecke Giarratana–Vizzini for several reasons:

A. The project was called and documented: "Ferrovia Siracusa-Ragusa" con "diramazione per Vizzini".

B. The line "Siracusa-Ragusa" was built before the "diramazione per Vizzini".

C. The line "Siracusa-Ragusa" is longer than the line "Siracusa-Vizzini".

D. The station of Ragusa is further west than the stazione di Vizzini Scalo.

And in all this, the reason why I suggest it gests called Bahnstrecke Siracusa-Ragusa-Vizzini is only because this railway was born and built as "one" infrastructure. It has nothing to do with which station is in the middle because neither of them can be! and all 3 stations are termius of line.--Sal73x 00:45, 9. Jun. 2011 (CEST)

Sal73x, wir machen das hier eigentlich in der Regel so, dass Zweigstrecken eigene Artikel bekommen. Außerdem werden immer nur die beiden Endpunkte der Strecke im Lemma erwähnt, außer wenn es zwei Strecken mit den gleichen Endpunkten gibt. Aber du hast Recht, die "Hauptstrecke" ist eher die nach Ragusa, auch verkehrlich. Deine Gründe C und D sind dabei übrigens nicht von Belang. A und B reichen aber völlig aus. Selbst wenn man das in einen Artikel machen würde, müsste das Lemma Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Ragusa/Vizzini lauten, denn sonst müsste die Strecke von Siracusa über Ragusa nach Vizzini gehen, was ja nicht der Fall war. --Thogo 03:47, 9. Ich wäre für Variante Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Ragusa/Vizzini. Ich unterstelle mal mit etwas AGF, dass die Angaben von Sal73x stimmen. Plausibel sind sie jedenfalls. Demzufolgen sollten die beiden Stubs in einem Artikel zusammengefasst werden. Ein großer Ausbau der Artikel ist wohl nicht zu erwarten und wenn doch, wären viele Aspekte vermutlich redundant. Bei Schmalspurbahnen scheint es übrigens häufiger vorzukommen, dass sich verschiedene Strecken einen Artikel teilen. Gruß. --Tavok 07:50, 9. Jun. 2011 (CEST)

Ja, das kommt da häufiger vor, weil es meistens abgeschlossene Bahnsysteme sind (kommt auch bei isoliert liegenden Strecken häufig vor). Ich hab bei meinen Schmalspurbahnen immer alle Zweigstrecken mit eigenen Artikeln versehen, einfach der Übersichtlichkeit halber. Aber man kann es natürlich auch anders machen, wenn man mag. :) Dann lasst uns die doch einfach zusammenfassen, und auf Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Ragusa/Vizzini verschieben. --Thogo 12:40, 9. Thank you both. I didn't know about separating "branches" and if it is not possible to create the page [[Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Ragusa/Vizzini I think that the two pages should be changed:

Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Vizzini to Bahnstrecke Siracusa–Ragusa and

Bahnstrecke Giarratana–Ragusa to Bahnstrecke Bivio Giarratana–Vizzini.

On top of the points A (Official documents) and B (time/history) above, the line Siracusa-Ragusa was extensively used for transporting "Asphalt/Bitumen" from the mines in Ragusa to the port of Siracusa. Never heard or seen wirtten, this line as Siracusa-Vizzini. I have always read about this line as Siracusa-Ragusa con diramazione Vizzini.--Sal73x 23:05, 10. Jun. 2011 (CEST)
