Diskussion:Diana Lixăndroiu
Elena Paraschiv
[Quelltext bearbeiten]@Matzematik: Happy New Year! and sorry for writing this in English. First of all, thank you very much for creating the article about Diana Lixăndroiu, but I'm afraid it contains a small error: despite the similarity in name, Diana's mother, Elena Paraschiv, is not the same person as the handball player Magdalena (Elena) Paraschiv. Paraschiv is a common name in Romania, and the two ladies live in different cities. Diana's mother lives in Pitești, she says so herself in the interview. I have attached here a page of the newspaper Cuvântul Libertății, published on June 30, 2005 (sorry, it's in Romanian). The short article called “U” Jolidon Cluj se întărește ("U" Jolidon Cluj gets stronger) announces the transfer of handball players Geanina Toncean and Magda Paraschiv to “U” Jolidon Cluj and quotes coach Gheorghe Covaciu, who says that the two will join the team on July 6, 2005: "They will arrive when the team reunites, on July 6". Since Diana Lixăndroiu is born on August 14, 2005, that means that Magda Paraschiv should have already been 8 months pregnant when she joined the team for trainings, which is obviously not possible.
Magda Paraschiv (no one in Romania calls her Elena Paraschiv, but Magdalena or Magda) is a well-known handball player in our country. If she was Diana's mother, all Romanian media would have already mentioned this in countless articles, but that is not the case. Kindly remove that information from the article, otherwise it may be picked up by other Wikis. Thank you once again for your interest in Romanian handball.

- Hello. Thank you very much for your advice. i will immediately remove the information. Sincerely yours --Matzematik (Diskussion) 19:27, 4. Jan. 2024 (CET)
- @Matzematik: thank you for your edit. Just a small thing, I cannot find any indication that her mother ever played handball. All she says about herself is that she is an "athlete's mother". From my point of view, she is just an ordinary mother, not a notable person in any way.
- Other than that, as soon as I find some time, I will translate the article written by you into Romanian. Thanks! --Nenea hartia (Diskussion) 20:24, 4. Jan. 2024 (CET)
- My bad. Sincerely yours --Matzematik (Diskussion) 20:33, 4. Jan. 2024 (CET)
