Diskussion:Farbstofftheorie nach Witt

Eine Frage.

Excuse me for writing in English (Entschuldigen Sie mir Bitte für schreiben in English - and excuse my spelling errors in German). This article, named "Farbstofftheorie nach Witt" (which ought to mean that it is Ernst Witt's farbstoffslehre that is described) says: "Danach besteht ein Farbstoff aus drei Komponenten:

Aus einem Chromophor (delokalisiertes π-Elektronensystem)

aus einem auxochromen Teil (Elektronendonator mit einem +M-Effekt)

und aus einem antiauxochromen Teil (Elektronenakzeptor mit einem −M-Effekt)."

but what Witt wrote in 1876 can be read here. As you can see, the "chrompophore" is what this article calls the "auxochrome", what this article calls the "chromophore", was called the "chromogen" by Witt. "Auxochromen" and "antiauxochhromen" were never mentioned at that stage. However, in Fritz Mayer, Chemie der organischen Farbstoffe 1924, page 6 it says "dass neben den farbgebenden (Chromophor) auch die farbverstärkende Wirkung eines Autochroms nötig sei". But that is not what this articcle tells us what an autochrome is. So:

Does this article really describe the "Farbstofftheorie nach Witt", or does it describe something else?
