Gotthard von Tyszka

The information in this article is (a) incomplete and (b) partly false. Let me explain: I am the great-greatgrandson of the subject and have researched the Von Tyszka family for many years now. To begin with Gotthard's full names were GOTTHARD Otto Heinrich von Tyszka. His parents are falsely named as Karl Gottlieb LEOPOLD von Tyszka and his second wife ELWINE Friederike Agnes Baltruszatis (sic!). In actual fact these two aforementioned individuals were his elder brother and his sister-in-law.

Gotthard von Tyszka's parents were Preussischer Amtmann und Kreisdeputierter Friedrich Wilhelm von Tyszka (* Goldap 12. Juli 1749, + Weischnuren, Kreis Rastenburg 27. August 1813), Herr auf Weischnuren und Glubenstein and his second wife Friederike Wilhelmine Hoyer (* um 1760, + 13. Februar 1840). Friedrich Wilhelm von Tyszka erhielt Preussischer Adelstand in Form gnadenweiser Erneuerung als "von Tyszka" 10. April 1810 zu Berlin.

Gotthard was married at the Sackheimer Kirche, Koenigsberg i. Pr. 25. Juli 1831 to JOHANNA Henriette Schiefferdecker (* Tragheim, Koenigsberg i. Pr. 6. Juni 1809, + Elbing, Westpreussen 27. November 1878) eldest daughter of Johann Heinrich Schiefferdecker and his wife JULIANE Wilhelmine Dorothea Pavian.

I would be most grateful if the above corrections and additions could be made please.
