Auf welcher Grundlage wird behauptet, dass in Deutschland für die "gesamte Schifffahrt" Hörwachenpflicht besteht? Weder SOLAS noch RR werden angegeben, wo steht dieses Gesetz? --Beispielname 15:50, 10. Mär. 2010 (CET)

Laut der IMO RESOLUTION MSC.77(69) wurde die Hörwache zum 01. Februar 1999 zurückgezogen ("RECALLING ALSO that regulation 12.3, chapter IV of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), 1974, as amended in 1988, requires that until 1 February 1999 or until such other date as may be determined by the Maritime Safety Committee, every ship while at sea shall maintain, when practicable, a continuous listening watch on VHF channel 16") und durch eine Empfehlung zur Hörwache ersetzt ("DETERMINES, in accordance with regulation IV/12.3 of the SOLAS Convention, that all GMDSS ships, while at sea, shall continue to maintain, when practicable, continuous listening watch on VHF channel 16 until 1 February 2005").

Die RegTP het in der "Mitteilungen für Seefunkstellen und Schiffsfunkstellen" vom November 2011 folgendes geschrieben:

"Gemäß dieser Resolution ist für die nach SOLAS funkausrüstungspflichtigen Schiffe die Hörwache auf UKW-Kanal 16 nur noch bis zum 1. Februar 2005 vorgeschrieben.

Sollte dieser Termin durch den internationalen Schiffssicherheitsausschuss (MSC) nicht verlängert werden, dann erfolgt nach diesem Datum die ununterbrochene Hörwache im UKW-Bereich nur noch mit Hilfe des an Bord installierten automatischen Wachempfängers auf dem DSC-Kanal 70." --Ole.Hinz (Diskussion) 13:53, 12. Die VO Funk / RadioRegulation sagt in 31.18: "Ship stations complying with the provisions of this Chapter should, where practicable, maintain a watch on the frequency 156.8 MHz (VHF channel 16)."

und in 52.244: "Ship stations should, where practicable, maintain watch on 156.8 MHz when within the service area of a coast station providing international maritime mobile radiotelephone service in the band 156-174 MHz. Ship stations fitted only with VHF radiotelephone equipment operating in the authorized bands between 156 MHz and 174 MHz should maintain watch on 156.8 MHz when at sea."

Und die US Coast Guard schreibt dazu: "

Digital Selective Calling

Ships, where so equipped, shall, while at sea, maintain an automatic digital selective calling watch on the appropriate distress & safety calling frequencies [e.g. channel 70] in the frequency bands in which they are operating.
