The book "Nazi Millionaires" identifies an SS Obergrupperfuhrer named von Sauberzweig charged with craft and corruption in occupied Warsaw circa 1940. Is this the same character ?
Kenneth A. Alford & Theodore P. Savas, Nazi Millionaires: The Allied Search for Hidden SS Gold (Casemate; 2002) ISBN-10: 0971170967 , page 33.
Also : Generalmajor Traugott Martin von Sauberzweig - any relation ?

- Herbert Hoover mentioned a „Generalquartiermeister“ „General von Sauberzweig“ in the first volume of his memoirs (Hoover, Herbert C. Memoirs. Years of adventure, 1874–1920, New York, 1951) an sayed the general's son got blind due to chemical warfare. Maybe Karl-Gustav Sauberzweig had been this person. ----141.13.170.175 20:22, 9.
