Jacey Cinemas Ltd connection with Kenneth Rive

It was through the friendship between my Father George Cohen and Kenneth Rive that so many continental films were shown to the UK cinema audiance at the Jacey Cinemas Ltd chain. The first one was shown at The Cinephone (formally a Jacey news theatre) opposite Selfridges, Oxford Street, London. Soon after more News theatres were changed to feature Continental films. At the following link there is a photo showing Joseph Cohen (the Chairman) with Kenneth Rive celebrating the 10 anniversary of Gala Films at the Jacey Cinemas.
