The introduction is already there, in the main article. This article just gives the facts. Isn't that what Wikipedia is for? My sources for the following are basically twofold: 1) Excerpts from the official protocols from the Falun 1954 WM, copied and mailed me from FIS. 2) Major Scandinavian newspapers: Aftenposten, Oslo; Sportsmanden, Oslo; Svenska Dagbladet, Stockholm; Dagens Nyheter, Stockholm; and Helsignin Sanomat, Helsinki.
