@Neitram: Sorry for writing in English (I don’t know German). I found it in a copy of this book (covering the two pages that have photographs printed on them) and haven’t been able to find anything about the design in English. For some decades in Argentina this design’s been like a standard pattern of wrapping paper for school textbooks and notebooks. See for example this discussion (there one user says he doesn’t find information in English, asks himself whether it is known only in Argentina and refers to a post on the history of its use in Argentina which I find very dubious). I myself haven’t been able to find information about its adoption in Argentina or any other place: will be glad to read if someone knows something. --Arsenal sin platea (Diskussion) 10:00, 23.
