Frassy
[Quelltext bearbeiten]I have corrected the initials of Bergfuehrer Frassy, because in 1858 the only language spoken in the Aosta Valley was French, so his initials can be only J.-B. (Jean-Baptiste). --145.226.30.43 17:50, 14. Jul. 2013 (CEST)
- D´accord! Thanks - or „merci“(?)! The „only language spoken“ in the valley was of couse rather Valdotain, but you are right, French was already the chosen official language of the region and christian names would most probably be in French. Italian names are only getting popular right now after they had been for some time forced onto the people by the fascists. But in fact you find many cases of the typical pairing of Italian christian names and Savoy-Aostan family names of French consonnance for quite some time now... I imported the „G“ with parts of the Italian article and did not check details on the guide. So: well done! Grüsse, --Stephele (Diskussion) 16:15, 12. Sep. 2013 (CEST)
