Das ist falsch - es ist Bb-Moll, die ersten drei Töne sind f, c und es, dh. Quinte, None und Undezime. (5, 9, 11) Kleine Terz und Septime kommen gar nicht vor. Die Töne Quinte, None und Undezime.

Vergleich mit der Quelle (https://monoskop.org/images/6/6b/Born_Georgina_Hesmondhalgh_David_Western_Music_and_Its_Others_Difference_Representation_and_Appropriation_in_Music.pdf, S. 260) zeigt, dass das ganze Zitat falsch übersetzt wurde. Im Original heißt es "..., the introductory motif of three tones begins by springing up a fifth and then a minor third to sound a minor seventh."

Richtig wäre: "Das einleitende dreitönige Motiv beginnt mit einer aufsteigenden Quinte und dann einer kleinen Terz, wodurch die kleine Septime erklingt."

Hier das ganze Zitat im Original. Ich habe die Übersetzung im Artikel korrigiert und hoffe, das ist ok. "Instantly evoking the melodic material and vocal techniques of Central African forest music, the introductory motif of three tones begins by springing up a fifth and then a minor third to sound a minor seventh. It then returns by rapidly alternating the tones of the opening fifth to evoke the fluttering sound of echoed yodel.
