Maria P. Walther

Maria P. Walther (* vor 1986) ist eine US-amerikanische Pädagogin, die zur Alphabetisierung forscht.

Walther promovierte in Grundschulbildung an der Northern Illinois University und unterrichtete ab 1986 Primarklassen. Sie erwarb die National Board Certification befasste sich mit der Verbesserung von Alphabetisierungsunterricht. Sie wurde in Illinois als Reading Educator of the Year („Leselehrerin des Jahres“) ausgezeichnet und wurde mit dem ICARE Reading Award „für die Liebe zum Lesen bei Kindern“ ausgezeichnet.
