Jemand glaubte dass unbedingt ein nicht sehr beleidigender Kommentar von meiner Diskussionsseite gelöscht werden musste ehe ich ihn sogar sah.
Den nicht sehr beleidigenden Kommentar sah ich als nicht sehr beleidigend. Wirklich,
- "Betrüger!!!!"
ist das eine sehr grobe Beleidigung? Der Kommentator sagte mir nicht einmal warum ich ein Betrüger bin.
Was ich sehr viel gröber fand ist dass dieser Kommentar von jemandem einfach so beseitigt wurde, nichtverunredentlicht wurde. (Yeah. There's a reason my reply to them below isn't in my Gerglish.)
Quite obviously, we have different standards when it comes to freedom of speech. I've had the privilege of living in a country where I was free to give the middle finger in the middle of the day in the middle of Oxford Street to two police officers when they drove their car at me carelessly while I crossed the street carelessly.
Now I'm glad to live in a country where my right to call police officers names and giving them the middle finger, should I deem it necessary, is protected by the constitution.
Conversely, I believe people have the right to call me names on my very own Discussion Page, and that I, and I alone, have the right to deal with such commentary.
Anyone else tampering with commentary on my very own Discussion Page violates freedom of speech thrice: namely the right of anyone to insult me; my right to be insulted and respond as appropriate; and then the very principle of freedom of speech itself.
A cousin of mine was murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau on May 21, 1942. He was arrested after saying the wrong thing. How I wish people had learned more about freedom of speech nearly 80 years later.

- Well, yeah, I know all about Godwin and all that, but a cousin of mine was actually murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau on May 21, 1942, for speaking his mind -- though nobody seems to be sure what exactly it was that he said that got him murdered -- so please excuse me for bringing this up when people seem quite unperturbed just deleting the most inoffensive stuff they personally find offensive. - A person came along and threw some garbage around, among other places in your front yard (where it still can be seen, in case of wanting to).
