Dear Elly,

First, sorry to write in English rather than in German, it's a language I still don't speak. Your talk call my attention because I tried the same approach for Wiktionary a couple of years ago and it became a list of skills contributors may acquiers. It may help you to sum up a similar list for Wikipedia - if your talk is not already prepared - and I'll be very interested to see your analysis. I dream of a plateforme with a similar list for each collaborative projects online, something like a guide for people willing to give some time to the common good. I feel in some cases it can be a good way to present a project. Anyway, have a good time at the WikiCon, I'll be at the Wikiconvention francophone at the same time ein lächelnder Smiley  Noé (Diskussion) 14:21, 20. Sep. 2018 (CEST)Beantworten

  • Dear Noé (Diskussion). Thank you so much for your input! That is great and I will take your input in my workshop as a bestpractice. Glad to give you feedback an this. Looking forward talking to you. It's sad that you can't join the Wikicon. Where are you located? Sould I put you in as Co-Host? I hope to collect some ideas in the workshop ein lächelnder Smiley  --Elly Koepf (WMDE) (Diskussion) 14:58, 2. Okt. 2018 (CEST)Beantworten
  • Good to read, I wasn't sure you get the time to look at the page before your talk. Feel free to experiment your own way before trying to test ours! I am not sure about the meaning of co-host for your talk but I think it is better not. In WMDE, I may be mostly known as an opponent to Wikidata Lexicographical project, and your talk should not be influenced by the debate Wiktionary-Wikidata. I live in Lyon, France. We may meet next year in Berlin for Wikimedia Summit (formerly Wikimedia Convention), if I go on behalf of the Tremendous Wiktionary User Group. Hope the best for your talk ein lächelnder Smiley  Noé (Diskussion) 15:26, 2. Okt. 2018 (CEST)Beantworten
