Die Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft 1982 war die zehnte von der Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) organisierte Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft. Sie wurde in der Zeit vom 16. Januar bis zum 25. November in zwölf Wertungsläufen ausgetragen. Audi konnte die Markenwertung für sich entscheiden. Zum vierten Mal wurde ein offizieller Fahrerweltmeister ermittelt. Der Deutsche Walter Röhrl gewann diesen Titel mit einem Opel Ascona.
