Dear Green_Giant!

German or English? It seems, you rather prefer English.

I am wikipedia user Doktorboerne, I live in Vienna, German speaking Austria. I write on behalf of my friend, wikipedia user Franz Soelkner, living in Graz, Austria. The reason for this post is, that you have blocked him.

Why do I write you on behalf of him? Franz Soelkner received a message, that he can NOT send an email to you unless he has created an email account in his „Benutzerkonteneinstellungen“ (I don’t know the English term). But he is also blocked to enter the „Benutzerkonteneinstellungen“. So I advised him, to leave a message here at your talk page. However, he is also blocked from leaving a message here. So, since there is no opportunity for him to contact you, I do it on his behalf.

You blocked him for long-term abuse. Why did you do so? Franz Soelkner has no idea and we guess, that there is a misunderstanding.

This is the information Franz Soelkner has received (in German):

Apparently, user Franz Soelkner was also blocked by administrator RuslikO. This is the message that goes back to Ruslik0

As you can see, he was also blocked by „RuslikO“, but for a different period. This seems to be strange, that there are blocks without intern coordination.

So please let Franz Soelkner know, why you have blocked him? Since he feels innocent, what are his rights to defend himself and in case, his defense is successful to undo the blocks, the one from you and the one from RuslikO. @Doktorboerne: Hi. Thank you for the message (and yes English is my first language but I can speak a little German). This is almost certainly a misunderstanding. Sometimes we have to block an entire group of IPs because of abuse by one or more users. It does not mean Franz is being blamed for the abuse. What is his username? In the first instance, I would recommend he asks a local administrator to grant him local IP exemption.
