Mitglieder

Bitte überprüft doch mal die Mitgliederliste...zum einen sind in der englischen Version wesentlich mehr Mitglieder aufgeführt, zum anderen stimmen (in beiden Versionen) die Lebensdaten der Musiker nicht. Quelle "Mehr Nr 1-Hits als...

Ähm ich würde gerne mal ne Quelle zu der Behauptung "The Funk Brothers haben als Band mehr Nr.-1-Hits eingespielt als die Beatles, die Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley und die Beach Boys zusammen." sehen. Denn nur weil es in den Opening Credits des Films behauptet wird, ist es noch längst nicht wahr. Dann kann ich ja auch behaupten, ich könnte die 100m schneller als Usain Bolt laufen...

Diese Angabe ist dem Film, bzw. dem Booklet zur DVD (Standing in the Shadows of Motown) zu entnehmen, werde mal suchen, ob es bei den Billboard Charts oder ähnlicher quelle eine verlässliche referenz dazu gibt. --Concept1 22:01, 22. Jan. 2009 (CET)

ich geh jetzt einfach mal davon aus, dass mit Nummer 1 - Hits nur die in Amerika gemeint sind.

ist zwar Theoriefindung, selber zu zählen, aber wenn außer mir noch jemand mitzählen will (einige fehlen noch, ich ergänze nach und nach die höchste Position in den normalen US-Charts (Billboard Hot 100, nach den auf der englischsprachigen Seiten verlinkten Artikeln zu den Songs, Originalquellen habe ich nicht überprüft-Stand 23.8.2019 bin ich bei 25 Nr 1 in USA, aber noch unvollständig)

In Tele 5 läuft gerade eine Doku mit dem Titel: "Standing in the Shadow of Motown" Da stehen "The Funk Brothers" aber in (damals noch kleiner) Konkurrenz zu Motown. Kamen "The Funk Brothers" erst später zu Motown?
